Past Community Engagement

Open House #3
January 20, 2026

The Consultant Team hosted the third and final public open house at the Gateway Convention Center to gather community feedback on the Final Draft Future Land Use Plan and Draft Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) Implementation Strategies for the comprehensive plan.

What are OKRs?
We’re glad you asked!

The comprehensive plan’s recommendations are framed as OKRs:

Objectives: Objectives are the “what” to be achieved by the community. Objectives address the Comprehensive Plan’s broad themes like housing, growth and development, and transportation.

Key Results: Key Results are the “how” to achieve the Objectives. Key Results include strategies and actions that the City and identified implementation partners should complete to achieve the related Objective and further the broad theme or goal.

City Staff held three neighborhood meetings at City Hall to engage Collinsville. This meeting focused on neighbor issues and opportunities, desired future land use and development patterns for individual neighborhoods, and shaping the overall community vision.

The Project Team hosted a neighborhood meeting at Kreitner Elementary School to gather community feedback from residents of State Park Place. The purpose of this neighborhood meetings was to provide an opportunity for residents, businesses, property owners, and other community members to: learn about the physical, social, and economic connections between State Park Place and Collinsville; identify neighborhood needs and priorities for the future; share your vision for the future of State Park Place; and learn how planning efforts by the City of Collinsville can help support the neighborhood’s vision.
